Some of my neighbors!

Hi all!  

Sorry it has been so long but Mom was so busy than a few weeks ago she broke her wrist real bad.  Her right wrist, she is right handed. ;(

She said when it is all better that they are going to break it again! 

So the next few months are going to be hard-

I wonder who is going to cut our nails?

I mean, I hate when she does that but my nails are getting long and I have to be careful scratching myself and when playing with Mom.

I don't want to hurt her, but when they are sharp it is hard not too. ;(

She promised me some pictures for my blog just before she fell (being a cat, trying to figure out how you can break wrist falling, and why on earth would you break it again! On purpose?!

Humans are weird!  But I love 'em MOL!)

Anyways she told me we can post some today,

Mom just took these of me.

I was bugging her all day because I wanted her to post some pictures she took the other day of Rene, the Degu.  They are real good pictures!  I love Rene, he is fun to watch and play with.  Foxy is not the only one who goes up to sit on his cage and play with him!

So I convinced her finally!

Hi everyone!

Mom has been so busy I thought she forgot about my blog ; (

She said between work, house work, her course and taking care of the neighbors cats she has been pretty busy.  (She is working on something else but will not tell me)

Anyways, do you remember our new neighbor with the cats??

Well he had a mild stroke, and is in the hospital.  Has been for over a week.

He is doing real good and has started therapy so it looks like he will be home soon hopefully.

His 3 beautiful kitties miss him so much.

Mom has been feeding and playing with them a few times a day.

She wont take me over to his apartment so she took me some pictures of them and said I could post them for you guys to see.

This is Boo Boo, Cinder and Kitten.

 

 

 

 And it looks like they play in boxes too!

Lets face boxes are one of cats favorite toys!

I hope for their sake there Daddy gets home soon, I know I would miss Mom if she was gone that long.  Poor Kitties.

I let mom take toys and treats for them too.

Well time to go again, hopefully it will not be so long next time.

Please send happy thoughts to these kitties daddy so he comes home soon!

New tags!!!!

Mom really loves us and doesn't want to lose us!!

We all have tags with our name on them (mine and Baby's even has a phone number) the boys, Sweetie and Little Boy both have tattoos in their ears.

The other day she was shopping at the Seaway Mall at one of the stores she found these tags for pets.  It will help us if we ever get lost, hopefully safe.

IT'S ALIVE! MOL!!

 Mom got four different one, so that each of us have a different picture on their tag.  The next picture is the back of the tag.  You can scan it with your smart phone and it will tell you how to call to come and get me. (or who ever is wearing it)  If you don't have a cell phone the web address will do the same thing.

Mom blocked out some of the letters and numbers so she doesn't get any prank calls.

And I have to tell you that Baby has found a new toy.

It is silly!  She claws it a little bit than lies on it, and than plays will her wheel toy MOL!

And mom thinks it is funny when I play with a q-tip!

Another award for me! One Lovely Blog Award!

Sorry this took so long to post, but mom has had a long couple of weeks.

So I have won the "One Lovely Blog Award"!

I love awards, and thank all that have given me one.

This one came from Kim from her blog "The Wiccan Life".

You must visit her blog, it is beautiful and informative.

She is a very nice lady who also loves animals and nature.

Me and my mom both follow her and enjoy reading her blog.

Now I am supposed to tell you all 7 things about myself.

This will not be easy, since I think you guys already know a lot about me but I will try!

1.  First I LOVE q-tips!  They are the best toys ever.  They are light and easy to carry and can fly real high into the air when you are playing with them!

2.  My favorite human food used to be spaghetti but now it is this stuff mom calls "ham", and the best part is that Baby likes it but the boys don't so Little Boy does not try to steal it from me (or Baby).

3.   I love my brothers and sister but I hate it when they always try to steal my sleeping spots!

4.  I learned recently that if mom does not see me go into the hall way, that I have to meow at the door for to open it again(and sometimes it takes awhile for her to hear me).

5.  If I do not take the bell off my collar than mom will always here me run past her(kinda wish I knew that about a week ago MOL!). 

6.  My favorite time of day is around 3 am.  Everyone is sleeping accept mom and I can play with any toy I want and no one will try and take it from me (plus if I run around they wont chase me)!

7.  My favorite thing to do with mom (besides sleeping on her) is making the bed.  Although I don't think mom appreciates my help, something about the blankets are supposed to go to the top of the bed, not pull them down to the middle.  She doesn't seem to understand that I am checking to make sure nothing is under them ;)

These are the little moments my mom talks about ALL THE TIME!
If you know her she says that moments like these is what makes life worth living.

I understand her now!
But than I am a cat, my life is full of these little wonderful moments.
It is sad that humans must have to wait for these moments.

Mom says she is not sure it is real.

I just think it looks neat.

And what is a wave? Mom tried explaining it to me, but can't get a picture of the water,

I mean there is a lot of water in a bath tub, okay got it!  

When Little Boy jumps in the bath tub he splashes water - a wave, I think.

Okay that has to be a lot of water to make a wave that big!!!!

Did not know there was that much water in the world!

Hi I am Little Boy!

This is me!

I have decided to say something finally.

I love Foxy very much but for some reason she always pushes me away.

Maybe because when I was little I played with her alot.  Chased her around etc. but I was playing!

One day she will realize that I have grown up and don't do that anymore(well almost never MOL).

Any ways that is not why I decided to finally post something.

See how beautiful my fur is?

Mom loves my fur!

Well ever since I was about 6 months old, I have had this problem.

I get itchy and/or dry skin, so when I scratch or lick my fur all the time I start losing my fur.

Now this has not happened for about 5 years, but for some reason this year my skin was driving me crazy!

I have lost a lot of my fur on my elbows and stomach plus the back of my legs.

Mom was so upset!

She asked her boss what to give me and he said to give me this yucky stuff!

I was supposed to swollow it!

She said it was bubble gum flavored!

YUCK!!!!!!

I heard mom say it was allergy medicine for children (but they don't like it either).

Any ways no way I was taking that stuff!  After the first time when ever she got that bottle out I hid!

A few days later she came home with something else.

It was a spray.

She knows I hate anything that has a spray.  The last time she got something like that for me it was a foam stuff she rubbed in, did not like that either!

Eventually she caught me ;(

At first I tried to get away.  

To my surprise after the third spray, I kinda liked it.

I stopped wiggling and getting away.

She rubbed it a little all over me.

I felt so good!

I hardly itched at all for a whole day!

So I let her do it again.

Now she puts it on almost everyday.  

My fur is growing back!  That makes me happy!

It seems to be making mom happy too.

I hardly itch at all anymore.

  Mom says she saw it on tv, found it at the store and asked the pharmacist if they had something like that safe for animals.  He told her that what she had was safe for animals and babies too!

It is called Vaseline Spray & Go!

I am so happy she found it!

I just wanted to share this info with all you animals and animal lovers out there in case any of you have the same problem as me.  (Mom says she can use it on her dry skin too!)

Mom says I am to tell you that I am not licking myself as much as I was before either. (Wow that is true, I just realized that MOL!)

Okay now here are some more pictures of me!

 This is me sleeping in Foxy's Bed.  I know she likes it up here because we can watch everything that is going on plus no one can sneak up on you (trust me I have tried to sneak up and lay with Foxy and she always catches me.  I don't want her to leave, I just to take a nap with her.)

 And don't tell Foxy but me and Baby sleep up there together as well.

If me and Baby can fit up there, than me and Foxy could too!  We can share the bed! She doesn't have to keep sending me away there is plenty of room!

Well I have to go now, I think I need a snack!

I will try and come back soon.

This is not as hard as I thought it would be, and it is fun.

Must tell Sweetie after I eat, maybe he will post something too!
